Happy 4TH of July WEEKEND!

Well tried posting pics on Sat. of all the fun we had with our youngest son and his GF and the little one and then today had LOTS more of our oldest son and his GF and the 2 little ones and well Sat. managed to get 3 pics uploaded here and then when tried the 4th the whole screen froze again!!!! soooooooooo no pics and no post and a bit frustrated again so go to my flickr and all the pics are there and am off to a fun Fiber day with my friend Jacki so hope to have some fun pics of that as well tomorrow! and hoping that Typepad will get this stupid new set up working and I can maybe upload a pic or more than 3!! or at least explain to me why there is a problem! so here is FLICKR LINK! enjoy the fun pics!! yarns coming too soon!! come back and look! Monday Cold and Dreary...SO Fun Bright Yarns to post!!

Well despite the yucky weather and all again (and cooler which of course I love!) I have been dyeing and washing lots of wool (washing 1st!!) so have 2 yarns to add to my etsy and more to come during the week so stop back!! oh and of course garden pics too I have a cucumber coming along but my poor tomatoes sure haven't been too happy with all the rain oh and the weeds well they of course LOVE this weather and are slowly taking over again!! anyway here are yarn pics and LOTS on FLICKR since got carried away with pics of the new yarn!! We had A LITTLE RAIN!!

Well has been a bit wet this whole week (actually since last Fri!!) and yesterday came home to torrential downpours and winds and a river behind the house and along the side and then a lake where our grape vines are!! I was coming back from dropping off some yarns at a yarn shop on the east side of Cleveland and had to actually stop and park the car till I could see past the hood to drive home!!! oh and yup in for more today and tomorrow too they say!! I sure hope the poor veggies make it they are so droopy the poor things!!
anyway here are pics and am spinning away since all the new yarns went to the LYS I have to make more for my etsy shop so stop back hopefully Sunday with a small update!!!

LOOK Fun Fiber pics and Garden too!!

Well look what I got in the mail yesterday and already dyed some and is drying now!!! Got this from a gal in Sardinia OH who I have gotten fiber from now for several years and is a wonderful person and has super great fiber!! can reach her at kathy_cunningham@verizon.net she also has locks of mohair for you doll girls and also for of course spinning/felting etc!! she's super to work with and is meticulous in her work!! if you need more info please contact her or me!! she has no website but has super prices and of course FABULOUS product!! as you can see from my pics!! will be getting mohair too from her so will post when it gets here as she gets it processed she is a one woman show!!! OH and yes some garden pics and all are of course on Flickr where you cans see the rest!!

Have been Playing With the Dyes again!

Well decided to spin up some locks again and then dyed the skeins in the canning jars and then into the canner for a good 1 1/2 hours to "cook" here are a couple pics of the end results!! more on Flickr! may be going into the etsy shop Sunday so stay tuned not sure yet!! but working on others too!!

Happy Father's day to my daddy and my FIL all the other dad's too!!
We had a nice breakfast with our oldest son and his wonderful GF Lorrie!! we had a great time and good food!! then stopped to see my sister and then home to weed and wash laundry and wool!!! wool done... laundry getting there!!! so hope to update my etsy shop tonite but looking stormy so likely in the morning everyone!!! have all the yarns posted on flickr already and here a couple here and oh yes have new kitty pics of the reason why we don't have flowers in our flower pots!!! In the second pic little crazy cat is actually laying with his butt on the little black and white kitty!! gotta love them but not when they trash my flowers!! and trust me they have! all the yarns on flickr!! and more kitty pics too! now off to finish laundry! yucky!

THURSDAY New Pics and Stuff!!

Well I am back from TNNA and had a blast with my baby sister!!! Hotter than a fritter and though and we did try to walk one day and got to some pretty pics from a local park but way too hot and humid to walk more than that!!! We looked and felt up LOTS of yarns and fibers too OH JOY!!!! Got some fun new books to add to my ever growing collection and met some great people!!I have lots of ideas for goodies to make and put in my shop and may even get into a local chop here if all goes well will see what happens!!

So lots going on and have some garden pics posted on FLICKR and new yarn pics that I hope to sell at a LYS in a town near me during their Big Knit in Public Day this Saturday!! I am very excited that Anita is letting me come and do that!! here is the link to her shop which is simply lovely and cozy and really wonderful people there!! It's STUDIO KNIT!! so if you are in Medina OH this Saturday come and visit and knit with the girls and have some local fun!! It's rain or shine so hoping for more shine and no rain and less heat too!! I will also be updating my ETSY SHOP hopefully Sunday after the sale so check back to see new additions and all then!! I will try to post new things to the shop a bit more often if all goes well!! So please stop in to check it out!! Never know what will show up!!

More News is that my yarns are also being sold in Portugal by a couple of gals that have set up a fabulous online store/website there in Portugal!! KNIT.COM.PT the site will soon be in English as well and so take a peek and say hi to Ana and Susana!! Thanks so much girls I am so thrilled and wish you both all the best in your new venture I am sure you will do great!!! I look forward to sending some fun yarns your way soon!!

Saturday!! Sister coming Garden Planted and New Yarn Pics!!

Well got the tomatoes and cukes and peppers all put in and some basil and sweet marjoram and also some swiss chard too!!! Pics soon!!! also spun up 5 more skeins and also will have 2 others all to post on etsy tomorrow after I wake up from picking sister up at the airport tonite at like midnite!!!!! yikes!!! will be after 1AM before we get back here but will be worth it we get to go to the big TNNA convention next weekend!! so pics of her and the boys and all soon!!! oh and have a new pic of my baby dog too so will post some pics here if I get them to work and then rest are all on flickr!!! so go see and ETSY tomorrow!!!

Happy Memorial Day! Pics Too!!

Well this is the 4th time I have tried to upload this post sooooooooooooo despite the day being not so great with My FIL in the hospital and possibly needing surgery and all did have some fun with my sister for a little bit having some wine tasting and having some fun good food!! Hope you all had a great day with your family and friends and since I have tried to upload more than 2 pics and for whatever reason that does NOT work because this will be the 4th time I am attempting to do this!! will only post 2 and can see the rest as usual on FLICKR!! and check my ETSY SHOP by Wed to see the new yarns they are ready but haven't had time to post them!! 3 now and have 4 more already new ones so bigger update this coming weekend!! here is one kitty pic and garden pic check Flickr for the rest please!!

Sunday and Garden Pics and Some new Yarns!!

Well despite all the rain and wind we have been having (yesterday things were blowing so hard thought all would be flattened!!!) but so far so good! Cooler and rain again last nite now sun in and out!! managed to spin a few yarns and have another new one in the wings and more on the way too!! Of course!! Have a new wheel on the way hope it is here like tomorrow or Tues!!! will see how fast those ponies can go!!! It's a Louet S90 an older discontinued folding wheel that folds completely flat!! yippee will be fun can't wait!!
Now have a few fun garden pics will only post a couple and the rest will be in FLICKR so please look for the rest there!! and also of course the yarn pics!! they will be in ETSY later today!! Going over to visit our youngest son (29 today!! feeling old trust me!!) and then home to do that!! so stop in there to see!!

Sunday Again and new Yarns and still Raining!!

Well have been spinning and dyeing new yarns and have 2 now posted in etsy so go see! and will post the other 2 in a bit!! am spinning another with some Baby Doll South Down I dyed the fibers Saturday they are from my buddy Sandy it is so soft and will be some fun colors in the yarn so watch for that!

I have also been included in one of the Treasuries created by a fellow fiber artist here on etsy take a peak my yarn got featured!! I am so excited but it ends on Tues so go now!!  Deebs Fiber Arts picked my yarn and several others and her shop is amazing with the most beautiful needle felted pieces I have ever seen!! her work is amazing so take a look at her shop for wonderful gifts and yourself!! Thanks Deb!!

Look More Fun Art Stuff

No Not me you sillies!!! but from my dear friend and wonderful artist Angie she is so stinkin creative and has such wonderful talent and is a great mom too!!! how she finds time to do it all just always amazes me!! you rock girlfriend!!! and she used my yarn for these 2 pieces but she has the most wonderful art work and jewelry in her etsy shop you have to go see her creations!!! Angiehallhaviland go visit her etsy shop it's sure fun and great place to get some wonderful artsy creations!!! here are her knitted wall hangings!! they are wonderful!! So here are a few pics of the garden and my lettuce I planted and my new big ole hooks my friend Ed put on my old Louet Flyer!! they are the best ever trick and work great but am spinning some fine Llama wool from Sandy's clouds and am spinning it a fairly thin (to me anyway) strand and even too!!! yikes!! will see if I ply it or not?? it's nice and soft!! anyway here are pics!! more on FLICKR of course!!!

Finally have Pics done and Etsy Updated MORE to come!

Well had some camera issues and hubby had to get another card for the camera for some weird reason ours just up and died and stopped taking pics!!just kept showing an error??? anyway the ETSY shop is finally updated and now off to drum card some new batts and then will also get some pics of our super soggy yard and my lettuce which is a bit happier with the rain and bit cooler out too!! All pics can be found of course on my FLICKR so stop there too!!
Had fun too yesterday since today is our anniversary we went to dinner at a great German restaurant in Cleveland and even were joined by our oldest son and his GF so that was fun despite all the rain we had for 2 solid days!!
